Amend Recommendation for CSAC EIA Renewal Option #2
Staff reported that Renewal Option #2 for the Excess General Liability renewal was their
recommendation for Council approval, should CSAC EIA Underwriting Committee
approve Big Canyon Reservoir as a covered loss exposure. At their meeting earlier
today, CSAC EIA Underwriting approved the inclusion of Big Canyon Reservoir as a
covered loss in their Excess Liability quote. The final total renewal premium for the
Excess General Liability program for the FY 13/14 is $546,243.
If Renewal Option #2 is approved by the City Council, staff further recommends that the
City Council also authorize the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of Coverage
with CSAC EIA in order to bind and procure coverage, and subject to review and
approval by the City Attorney.
