A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR RE-
is PLACEMENT OF PLUMBING FIXTURES IN BEACHFRONT
PUBLIC RESTROOMS TO MEANS & ULRICH, CONTRACT
NO. C -146'
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with the replacement of plumbing fixtures in
beachfront public restrooms, in accordance with-:the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the
8th day of February, 1973, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefor is Means & Ulrich;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Means & Ulrich
for the work in the amount of $95,200 be accepted, and that
the contract for the described work be awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 26th day of February, 1973.
