A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH DESIGNATING NEW MAC ARTHUR
BOULEVARD FROM SAN JOAQUIN HILLS ROAD TO FORD
ROAD AS A THROUGH STREET
. WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that whenever an ordinance or resolu-
tion designates a street or portion thereof as a through
street, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect stop signs on
each and every street intersecting such through street or
portion thereof so designated and every driver of a vehicle
shall stop at such through street as required by the California
Vehicle Code; and
WHEREAS, the following described street or portion
thereof should be designated as a through street where vehicles
are required to stop;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the following street or
portion thereof is hereby designated as a through street:
New MacArthur Boulevard from San Joaquin
Hills Road to Ford Road.
ADOPTED this 12th day of March , 1973.
