A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING EXECU-
TION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED TO CARL ARTHOFER
AND DORIS ARTHOFER RELEASING THE CITY'S
INTEREST IN A STORM DRAIN EASEMENT LOCATED
SOUTHWESTERLY OF CLIFF DRIVE NEAR ITS
INTERSECTION WITH ALISO AVENUE
• WHEREAS, a certain storm drain easement located south
westerly of Cliff Drive near its intersection with Aliso Avenue
is no longer required by reason of the abandonment of the old
storm drain and the construction of a new storm drain in the
area; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City has no
present or prospective need for said storm drain easement which
is more particularly described as follows:
The northwesterly 5.00 feet of the southeasterly
500.00 feet of the northeasterly 150.00 feet of
Lot A of Tract No. 919 as shown on a map recorded
in Book 29, Pages 31 through 34, inclusive, of
Miscellaneous Maps of said Orange County, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and
City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute
a quitclaim deed releasing to Carl Arthofer and Doris Arthofer
the City's interest in the above described storm drain easement.
ADOPTED this 26th day of March , 1973.
