RESOLUTION NO. 7957
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 6802 TO ADD CERTAIN LOCATIONS WITHIN
THE CITY TO DESIGNATED PARKING METER EN-
FORCEMENT AREAS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach on June 24, 1968 adopted Resolution No. 6802 and there-
by established the following designated parking meter enforce-
ment zones: recreational areas; combination recreation/com-
mercial areas; and commercial areas; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interests
of the citizens of the City of Newport Beach will be served by
the addition of several locations to said parking meter enforce-
ment areas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the following additions be
made to the specified parking meter enforcement areas:
Recreational -
1. Balboa Boulevard from 15th Street to
Alvarado Street.
2. 18th Street from Balboa Boulevard to Bay
Avenue.
3. 19th Street from Bay Avenue to the Bay.
Recreational /Commercial -
1. 26th Street Parking Lot.
Commercial -
1. The City -owned parking lot at the south -
easterlyy corner of East Bay Avenue and
Washington Street.
2. 32nd Street from LaFayette Avenue to
Villa Way.
3. The City -owned land southerly of and ad-
jacent to Ocean Front from Palm Street
to Main Street.
ADOPTED this 26th day of March , 1973.
