A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH FIXING THE SALARY
_ OF THE CITY MANAGER, CITY ATTORNEY AND
• CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach has the power and duty to establish the salary of the
City Manager, City Attorney, and the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 7735 established said
salaries beginning July 8, 1972.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective
July 7, 1973, Resolution No. 7735 be rescinded, and that
beginning July 7, 1973, the salary of the City Manager shall
be $35,000.00 per year; the salary of the City Attorney
shall be $29,000.00 per year; and the salary of the City
Clerk shall be $17,500.00 per year, payable in monthly,
semi - monthly, or bi- weekly installments as is most convenient
in the ordinary course of the preparation of the City's payroll.
ADOPTED this 11th day of June , 1973.
