RESOLUTION NO. 8019
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT
FOR WIDENING OF THE PARKING AREA AT
MARINERS LIBRARY TO R. W. MCCLELLAN & SONS,
CONTRACT No. 1529
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with the widening of the parking area at Mariners
Library, in accordance with the plans and specifications hereto-
fore adopted, bids were received on the 13th day of June, 1973,
and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is R. W. McClellan & Sons;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of R. W. McClellan
& Sons for the work in the amount of $10,082.75 be accepted,
and that the contract for the described work be awarded to
said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
