A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DESIGNATING EL
CAPITAN DRIVE FROM SPYGLASS HILL ROAD
TO SAN JOAQUIN HILLS ROAD AS A THROUGH
STREET
• WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that whenever an ordinance or
resolution designates a street or portion thereof as a
through street, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect
stop signs on each and every street intersecting such
through street or portion thereof so designated and
every driver of a vehicle shall stop at such through
street as required by the California Vehicle Code;
and
WHEREAS, the following described street or
portion thereof should be designated as a through
street where vehicles are required to stop;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach that the follow-
ing street or portion thereof is hereby designated as
a through street:
E1 Capitan Drive from Spyglass Hill
Road to San Joaquin Hills Road.
ADOPTED this 9th day of July , 1973.
