A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DESIGNATING AN
INTERSECTION AT WHICH VEHICLES ARE RE-
QUIRED TO STOP AND DIRECTING THE TRAFFIC
ENGINEER TO ERECT NECESSARY STOP SIGNS
• WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that whenever,rari.-oidinahiCe:::or
resolution designates and describes an intersection at
which vehicles are required to stop at one or more en-
trances thereto, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect
stop signs at those entrances of such intersection where
a stop is required and every driver of a vehicle shall
stop at such intersection; and
WHEREAS, certain intersections should be desig-
nated as intersections where vehicles are required to
stop at one or more entrances thereto as hereinafter
provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach that the following
described location is hereby designated as an inter-
section at which vehicles are required to stop, and the
City Traffic Engineer is hereby directed to erect and
maintain stop signs at said location:
Point Mendocino Way at
Bodego Drive.
