RESOLUTION NO. 8097
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH DECLARING THURSDAY, OCTOBER 11, 1973,
"ORANGE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DAY"
WHEREAS, on Thursday, October 11, 1973, the Orange County
Economic Development Conference will be held at the Anaheim Conven-
tion Center; and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that over 800 businessmen from
Orange County and areas outside the County will be in attendance
who will be afforded an opportunity to listen to a group of speakers
who have been carefully selected as leaders in their particular
fields of ecology, transportation, economics, and the energy crisis;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that this conference
is worthwhile and will prove most beneficial to the business in
Orange County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach hereby declares Thursday, October 11, 1973,
as "Orange County Economic Development Day ".
ADOPTED this 10th day of September , 1973.
