A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING EXECU-
TION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED RELEASING THE
CITY'S INTEREST IN A WATER LINE EASEMENT
• LOCATED ALONG THE NORTHWESTERLY CITY
BOUNDARY BETWEEN 16TH AND 17TH STREETS
WHEREAS, a certain water line easement located along
the northwesterly City boundary between 16th Street and 17th
Street is no longer required in that the City of Newport Beach
no longer intends to provide water service to Tract No. 7989;
and,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City has
no present or prospective need for said water line easement
which is more particularly described as follows:
A strip of land 15 feet wide as described in the
easement to the City of Newport Beach recorded May 8,
1973 in Book 10685, Page 288, of Official Records of
said County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and
City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to
execute a quitclaim deed releasing the City's interest in the
above - described water line easement.
ADOPTED this 12th day of November , 1973.
