RESOLUTION NO. 8134
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING THE BASE
RATE FOR AMBULANCE SERVICE WITHIN THE
CITY, AS ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION NO. 7091
WHEREAS, a request for an increase in the base rate
charged for ambulance service has been received by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach and a study subsequently
conducted regarding the base rates charged by the ambulance
services presently operating within the City; and
WHEREAS, Section 5.14.150 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that the City Council may, on its own
motion, hold a hearing at any time for the purpose of determin-
ing whether previously approved ambulance rate schedules should
be changed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing
after giving notice thereof in accordance with the requirements
of said Section 5.14.150 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code,
and has considered the testimony of all interested parties and
all relevant evidence presented at said public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the following change in uniform
ambulance rate schedules established by Resolution No. 7091,
adopted on October 25, 1969, is hereby authorized:
