A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH DESIGNATING INTERSECTIONS
AT WHICH VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED TO STOP AND
DIRECTING THE TRAFFIC ENGINEER TO ERECT
NECESSARY STOP SIGNS
• WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that whenever an ordinance or resolution
designates and describes an intersection at which vehicles are
required to stop at one or more entrances thereto, the City
Traffic Engineer shall erect stop signs at those entrances of
such intersection where a stop is required and every driver of
a vehicle shall stop at such intersection; and
WHEREAS, certain intersections should be designated
as intersections where vehicles are required to stop at one
or more entrances thereto as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the following described locations
are hereby designated as intersections at which vehicles are
required to stop, and the City Traffic Engineer is hereby
directed to erect and maintain stop signs at each of said
locations:
On Von Karman Avenue at Campus Drive.
On Birch Street at Von Karman Avenue.
On Teller Avenue at Campus Drive.
On Teller Avenue at Birch Street.
On Martingale Way at Corinthian Way.
On Scott Drive at Corinthian Way.
On Scott Drive at Dove Street.
On Westerly Place at Dove Street.
On Westerly Place at Quail Street.
On Dolphin Striker Way at Dove Street.
On Newport Place Drive at Dove Street.
On Bowsprit Drive at Dove Street.
On Bristol Street (N) at Birch Street.
On Spruce Street at Quail Street.
On Spruce Street at Bristol Street (N).
On Dove Street at Bristol Street (N).
• On Quail Street at Dove Street.
