RESOLUTION NO. 8173
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM
WILLIAM C. AND RUTH B. REIGLE IN CONNECTION
WITH THE PURCHASE OF AN OCEAN FRONT LOT
WHEREAS, there has been delivered to the City of
Newport Beach a certain grant deed dated December 6, 1973, wherein
William C. and Ruth B. Reigle grant to the City of Newport Beach
the following described real property in connection with the
City's purchase of an ocean front lot in the City of Newport
Beach, legally described as follows:
and
That portion of Block T of the Eastside Addition to
the Balboa Tract, included in the Southerly projection
to the high tide line of the Pacific Ocean of the Easterly
and Westerly lines of Lot 1, Block 16, of the Eastside
Addition to the Balboa Tract, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 4, page 20 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California;
Excepting any portion thereof lying below the high
tide line of the Pacific Ocean;
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said grant deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said grant is hereby accepted,
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and
attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and consent to its
recording and to cause said document to be recorded in the Orange
County Recorder's Office.
