A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH COMMENDING J. KENNETH FAGANS ON
RETIREMENT FROM THE CALIFORNIA INTERSCHOLASTIC
FEDERATION SOUTHERN SECTION
WHEREAS, J. Kenneth Fagans has been a long -time
Commissioner of Athletics for the California Interscholastic
. Federation Southern Section; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Fagans is to be honored for his twenty -one
years of service to high school athletics and young people at a
retirement ceremony to be held on Thursday, April 3, 1975;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Fagans has been a respected citizen and
resident of our community for many years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach hereby commends J. Kenneth Fagans
on his retirement as Commissioner of Athletics for the California
Interscholastic Federation Southern Section and wishes to express
its sincere appreciation for the many significant contributions
he has made to high school athletics and to the young people
residing in the Southern California area.
