RESOLUTION NO. 8443
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
STREET, STORM DRAIN, SEWER AND WATER IMPROVE-
MENTS, BAYSIDE DRIVE FROM BAYSIDE PLACE TO
MARGUERITE AVENUE, CONTRACT NO. 1497
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
street, strom drain, sewer and water improvements, Bayside
Drive from Bayside Place to Marguerite Avenue, in accordance
with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids
were received on the 13th day of February, 1975, and publicly
opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefore is Bebek Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Bebek Company for the
work in the amount of $388,680.50 be accepted, and that the
contract for the described work be awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
