A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH REQUESTING MANAGEMENT AUDIT
INFORMATION FROM ORANGE COUNTY
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has established a Manage-
ment Audit Team to review management practices and procedures;
and
WHEREAS, said Management Team has produced economies in
audits of several Orange County Departments and Divisions; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Council desires in-
formation on the possibility of contracting with Orange County to
perform management audits within the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, a contractual arrangement may be beneficial to
both the County of Orange and the City of Newport Beach;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach requests the Orange County Board of
Supervisors to authorize the Orange County Chief Administrative
Officer to meet and discuss with the City Manager of the City of
Newport Beach the details, requirements, and conditions of con-
tracting with this City for management audit services.
ADOPTED this 14th day of April, 1975.
