A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH FIXING THE SALARY OF THE
CITY MANAGER, CITY ATTORNEY AND CITY CLERK
• WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach has the power and duty to establish the salary of the
City Manager, City Attorney and City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 8284 established said salaries
beginning July 6, 1974;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that effective July 1 , 1975,
Resolution No. 8284 be rescinded, and that beginning July 1 ,
1975, the salary of the City Manager shall be $ 40,000.00 per
year; the salary of the City Attorney shall be $ 33,000.00 per
year; and the salary of the City Clerk shall be $ 20,000.00 per
year, payable in monthly, semi- monthly, or bi- weekly installments
as is most convenient in the ordinary course of the preparation
of the City's payroll.
