A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A MAP
• SHOWING A WALKWAY EASEMENT TO BE ABANDONED
AND VACATED RUNNING GENERALLY SOUTHEASTERLY
FROM THE INTERSECTION OF SETTING SUN DRIVE
AND SANDPIPER DRIVE, BEING THE NORTHEASTERLY
EDGE OF LOT 27, TRACT NO. 3660, IN THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport
Beach has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach a certain drawing entitled "Vacation and Abandonment of
the Public Walkway Interest in an Existing Walkway and Storm
Drain Easement" being the City of Newport Beach Drawing No.
R/W- 5322 -L, dated June 25, 1975, showing an existing ten foot wide
walkway in the City of Newport Beach running generally southeasterly
from the intersection of Setting Sun Drive and Sandpiper Drive,
being the northeasterly edge of Lot 27, Tract No. 3660 which the
City is considering vacating and abandoning, and which portion is
more particularly described as follows:
A strip of land being a portion of Lot 27, Tract
3660, as shown on a map recorded in book 144,
pages 9 through 11 of Miscellaneous Maps in the
office of the County Recorder, County of Orange,
State of California, said strip being the most
northeasterly 10.00 feet, of said lot, measured
at right angles from the Northeasterly line
thereof.
The Southwesterly line of said strip being pro-
longed or shortened to terminate in the north-
westerly and southeasterly lines of said Lot 27.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said map is hereby approved and
adopted, the City Clerk is ordered and directed to file the same
in the proceedings for the abandonment of said walkway easement.
