RESOLUTION NO. 8591
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A 12,000 GALLON
UNDERGROUND FUEL TANK AT JAMBOREE ROAD
POLICE FACILITY, CONTRACT NO. 1747
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
construction of a 12,000 gallon underground fuel tank at
Jamboree Road Police Facility, in accordance with the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the
29th day of August, 1975, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefor is Coast Equipment Exchange;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Coast Equipment
Exchange for the work in the amount of $16,661.00 be accepted,
and that the contract for the described work be awarded to said
bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 8th day of September, 1975.
