RESOLUTION NO. 8663
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING "NO STOPPING ANY
TIME" RESTRICTIONS FROM 7:00 A.M. TO 9:00 A.M.
ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PACIFIC VIEW DRIVE FROM
MARGUERITE AVENUE TO 1100 FEET WESTERLY OF
MARGUERITE AVENUE
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.150 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall by resolu-
tion designate streets or portions of streets on which the
parking or standing or vehicles is to be prohibited, and shall
designate in the resolution the days of the week and the exact
hours during which such prohibition shall be in effect; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
reasonable and in the public interest to restrict parking
from 7:00 to 9:00 A.M. on the north side of Pacific View Drive
from Marguerite Avenue to 1100 feet westerly of Marguerite
Avenue;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that parking of vehicles shall be
prohibited from 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. on the north side of
Pacific View Drive from Marguerite Avenue to 1100 feet westerly
of Marguerite Avenue;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer
is authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mark said
area to indicate such parking prohibition.
