A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING THE
SEGMENT OF AN EXISTING 10 -FOOT WIDE ALLEY TO
BE VACATED AND ABANDONED (NORTHEASTERLY OF
WEST COAST HIGHWAY BETWEEN ORANGE STREET AND
• COLTON STREET)
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport

Beach has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach a certain drawing entitled "Alley Vacation" being the
City of Newport Beach Drawing No. R /W- 5339 -L, dated June 30,
1976, showing the segment of the existing 10 -foot alley within
Resubdivision No. 520, northeasterly side of West Coast Highway'.
between Orange Street and Colton STreet in the City of Newport
Beach, which the City is considering vacating and which parcel
is more particularly described as follows:
"A strip of land, 10.00 feet in width, measured
at right angles, being a portion of the alley
in Block 7 of the Seashore Colony Tract as said
tract is shown on a map recorded in Book 7,
Page 25 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of
the County Recorder, County of Orange, State of
California, the northwesterly line of said strip
is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most easterly corner of Lot 12
of Block 7 of said tract, thence southwesterly
along the southeasterly lot lines of Lot 12, 13
and 14, said line terminating on the southeasterly
lot line of Lot 14 at the northeasterly corner of
the parcel of land described in a deed recorded
in Book 382, Page 20 of Official Records of said
County."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said map is hereby approved and
adopted, and the City Clerk is ordered and directed to file they
same in the proceedings for the abandonment of said alley
northeasterly of West Coast Highway between Orange Street and
Colton Street.
