RESOLUTION NO. 9034
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ORDERING THE VACATION AND
ABANDONMENT OF AN EXISTING 10 =FOOT WIDE
PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT OVER LOTS 1, 2 AND
3 OF BLOCK A, TRACT NO. 673 IN CORONA DEL MAR
WHEREAS, the City Engineer presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach on February 28, 1977,
a certain map prepared by the Public Works Department of the
City of Newport Beach marked Exhibit "A" dated February 17,
1977, showing the existing 10 -foot wide public utility easement
over Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Block A, Tract No. 673 in Corona del
Mar, which the City is considering vacating; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach approved and adopted said map on February 28, 1977, and
directed the City Clerk to file same in the proceedings for
the abandonment of said existing 10 -foot wide public utility
easement; and
WHEREAS, on March 28, 1977, the City Council held
a public hearing for the purpose of hearing all persons
interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandon-
ment of said above - described public utility easement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines from
all of the evidence submitted that the subject public utility
easement described herein and more particularly in Resolution
No. 9011 is unnecessary for present or prospective public
use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
ofthe City of Newport Beach that said 10 -foot wide public
utility easement, more particularly described as:
All of that alley in Block A, 10 feet in width,
as shown upon a map of Tract No. 673, recorded

in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 20, pages 17 and 18,
Records of Orange County, California, and more
particularly described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Lot 1
of said Block A; thence, southwesterly along the
southwesterly prolongation of the northwesterly
line of said Lot 1 to the most northerly corner
of Lot 3 of said Block A; thence, southeasterly
along the northeasterly line of said Lot 3, to
the most easterly corner of said Lot 3; thence,
northeasterly along the northeasterly prolonga-
tion of the southeasterly line of said Lot 3,
to the most southerly corner of Lot 2 of said
Block A; thence, northwesterly along the south-
westerly line of Lot hand Lot 2 of said Block
A to the point of beginning."
is hereby ordered vacated and abandoned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk is hereby
ordered to cause a certified copy of such order attested by the
Clerk under the seal of the City to be recorded in the Office
of the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
