A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH NAMING CERTAIN PARKS IN
• SECTOR IV, HARBOR VIEW (SPYGLASS HILL PARK,
HARBOR RIDGE CANYON AND SAN MIGUEL PARK)
WHEREAS, the Parks, Beaches and Recreation Commission
at its regular meeting held on June 7, 1977, recommended
certain names for the three parks that will exist in the
Sector IV area of Harbor View; and
WHEREAS, the City Council have reviewed these names
and found them to be acceptable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach hereby establishes the following
names for the three parks in Sector IV, Harbor View:
A. The one -acre park at the intersection of
Spyglass Hill Road and E1 Capitan to be
named "Spyglass Hill Park ";
B. The canyon area bordered by Spyglass Hill
Road, running between Spyglass Hill and San
Miguel, to be named "Harbor Ridge Canyon "; and
C. The neighborhood park at the intersection of
San Miguel and Spyglass Hill Road to be named
"San Miguel Park ".
ADOPTED this 27th day of June , 1977.
