Home My WebLink About9165 - Santiago Library System Joint Powers AgreementRESOLUTION NO. 9165 WHEREAS, it has been recommended that the Joint Powers Agreement for the Santiago Library System be amended to clarify the power of the City Council of the Santiago Library System to employ personnel; to receive and disburse funds; and WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach an Amended Joint Powers Agreement to the Santiago Library System; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and conditions of said amended agreement and finds them to be satisfactory and that it would be in the best interest of the City to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said amended agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach that said amended agreement above described is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
