A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING THE PARCEL MAP FOR
RESUBDIVISION NO. 566, ACCEPTING EAST BALBOA
BOULEVARD, PALM STREET, THE ALLEY AND THE
EASEMENT FOR SIDEWALKS AND PEDESTRIAN PURPOSES
AS DEDICATED, ACCEPTING THE VEHICULAR ACCESS
RIGHTS TO EAST BALBOA BOULEVARD AS RELEASED
AND RELINQUISHED
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a Parcel Map for Resubdivision
No. 566, subject to the offer of dedication of a portion of
East Balboa Boulevard, Palm Street, the alley and the easement
for sidewalks and pedestrian purposes, and the vehicular
access rights to East Balboa Boulevard as released and
relinquished; and
WHEREAS, Laguna Federal Savings and Loan Association
has made the offer of dedication of a portion of East Balboa
Boulevard, Palm Street, the alley and the easement for sidewalks
and pedestrian purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the Parcel
Map and the offer of dedication of a portion of East Balboa
Boulevard, Palm Street, the alley and the easement for sidewalks
and pedestrian purposes, and the vehicular access rights to East
Balboa Boulevard as released and relinquished, and finds that
the approval of the Parcel Map and the acceptance of the above -
described offer of dedication and vehicular access rights to
be in the best interests of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said Parcel Map is approved
and the offer of dedication is hereby accepted and the vehicular
0 access rights to East Balboa Boulevard are hereby accepted, and
the City Clerk is authorized to execute the certificate on said
map consistent herewith and approving the signature omissions
per Section 66436(b)(1) of the Subdivision Map Act.
