RESOLUTION NO. 9351
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING THE DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE REVENUE AND TAXATION
STEERING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the efficient functioning of the City's
business requires the creation of special subcommittees (ad
hoc) of the City Council to study and review.community issues
and make recommendations concerning appropriate Council action;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has established procedural
policies governing the conduct and operations of such committees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach does hereby establish the Revenue
and Taxation Committee with the following duties and
responsibilities:
REVENUE AND TAXATION COMMITTEE
A. Review the 10 -year Budget, special
Budget requests and other Budget trends.
B. Report back to Council with recommendations.
C. This Committee shall terminate and cease to
exist on October 25, 1978.
