A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
. OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AND.GAUDENTI AND SONS
LANDSCAPING CORPORATION FOR LANDSCAPING SERVICES
AT INSPIRATION POINT AND KINGS ROAD VIEW PARKS,
CONTRACT NO. 2005
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with landscaping services at Inspiration
Point and Kings Road View Parks, in accordance with the plans
and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on
the 31st day of May, 1978, and publicly opened and declared;
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefor is GAUDENTI AND SONS LANDSCAPING CORPORATION;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Gaudenti and Sons
Landscaping Corporation for landscaping services in the amount
of $37,812.00 be accepted, and that the contract for the
described work be awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 12th day of June , 1978.
