A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF NEWPORT BEACH CREATING NEW EMPLOYEE
CLASSIFICATIONS (PUBLIC WORKS - UTILITIES
REORGANIZATION)
WHEREAS, the City Manager has determined that the
City government will function more efficiently by reorganizing
the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, said reorganization will result in the
creation of new employee classifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the new
employee classifications and believes it to be in the best
interest of the City to approve said classifications,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach hereby approves the creation of
the following employee classifications:
1. Assistant City Engineer;
2. Public Works Director - City Engineer -
Street Superintendent;
3. Senior Civil Engineer;
4. Utilities Director.
