RESOLUTION NO. 9431
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH PERMITTING BICYCLE RIDING ON
GOLDENROD BRIDGE
WHEREAS, Section 12.56.140 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code allows the City Council to designate by
resolution specific sidewalks where bicycle riding is permitted;
and
WHEREAS, the Bicycle Trails Citizens Advisory Committee
has recommended that the Goldenrod Bridge be added to those areas
where bicycle riding is presently allowed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach hereby designates Goldenrod Bridge as a
sidewalk where bicycle riding is allowed. No motorcycles,
mopeds or other motorized vehicles shall be permitted on Goldenrod
Bridge.
ADOPTED this 11th day of September , 1978.
