is A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT TO BOURGET
CONSTRUCTION IN CONNECTION WITH THE STORAGE
FACILITY AT BIG CANYON RESERVOIR, CONTRACT NO.
2042
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with the storage facility at Big Canyon
Reservoir, in accordance with the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 12th day of
and
October 1 1978, and publicly opened and declared;
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is BOURGET CONSTRUCTION,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of BOURGET CONSTRUCTION
for work in connection with the storage facility at Big Canyon
Reservoir in the amount of $28,850.00 be accepted, and that the
contract for the described work be awarded to said bidder; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid, and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 24th day of October 1978.
