A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO.
8657 ESTABLISHING A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
CITIZENS' ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, on December 8, 1975, the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach adopted Resolution No. 8657,
establishing the Community Development Citizens' Advisory
Committee to assist the City with the administration of the
H.U.D. Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City no longer participates in said
Grant Program and therefore the purpose of continuing the
existence of the Committee is no longer required,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach finds and determines that the
Community Development Citizens' Advisory Committee should be
abolished and that Resolution No. 8657 is hereby rescinded.
ADOPTED this 20th day of December , 1978.
