A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING THE TOW TRUCK RATE
SCHEDULES FOR TOW SERVICES WITHIN THE CITY OF
46 NEWPORT BEACH (Coast Towing Service, G & W
Towing, Inc., Harbor Towing)
WHEREAS, Section 5.13.140 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that each holder of a certificate
of public convenience and necessity for the operation of
a tow truck service shall file with the City a proposed
schedule of rates to be charged for transporting vehicles;
and
WHEREAS, Coast Towing Service, G & W Towing, Inc.,
and Harbor Towing have submitted to the City Council their
respective proposed schedules of rates to be charged, which
schedules are appended hereto as Exhibits A, B and C; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that the
rates proposed by said tow services are fair and equitable,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach hereby approves the schedules of
rates as submitted by Coast Towing Service, G & W Towing, Inc.,
and Harbor Towing.
ADOPTED this 10th day of March, 1980.
