RESOLUTION NO. 9800
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT TO
JOHN T. MALLOY IN CONNECTION WITH THE JASMINE
CREEK STORM DRAIN INLET (C -2157)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with the Jasmine Creek storm drain inlet,
in connection with the plans and specifications heretofore
adopted, bids were received on the 30th day of May, 1980, and
publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefor is JOHN T. MALLOY,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT :RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of JOHN T. MALLOY
in the amount of $28,546.00 for the Jasmine Creek storm drain
inlet be accepted, and that the contract for the described work
be awarded to said bidder; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid, and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and. that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
