A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING A SEWER CONNEC-
TION FEE AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 14.24.050 OF
THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE, TO BECOME
EFFECTIVE JULY 10, 1980
WHEREAS, on June 9, 1980, the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach adopted Ordinance No. 1847 which
amended Section 14.24.050 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code to establish by resolution of the City Council a sewer
connection fee, which ordinance shall become effective
July 9, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the fee
recommended by the City Manager and finds it to be fair,
equitable and reasonable,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that-the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach hereby establishes a
fee in the amount of Thirty Dollars ($30.00) to be charged
for each connection to the public sewer, as provided by
Section 14.24.050 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date
for said sewer connection fee shall be July 10, 1980.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of June, 1980.
