is A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING A WATER SERVICE
TURN -ON CHARGE PURSUANT TO SECTION 14.12.150
OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE, TO
BECOME EFFECTIVE JULY 1.0, 1980
WHEREAS, on June 9, 1980, the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach adopted Ordinance No. 1853 which
amended. Section 14.12.150 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code to establish by resolution of the City Council a water
service turn -on charge; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the fee
recommended by the City Manager and finds it to be fair,
equitable and reasonable,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach hereby establishes a
fee of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) as the amount to be deposited
with the City for water turn -on services pursuant to Section
14.12.150 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said water service
turn -on charge shall become effective July 10, 1980.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of June, 1980.
