A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF NEWPORT BEACH INCREASING THE FEES REQUIRED
FOR APPROVAL IN CONCEPT' PERMITS PURSUANT TO
SECTION 15.37.020 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNI-
CIPAL CODE, TO BECOME EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1980
WHEREAS, Section 15.37.020 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code establishes fees relating to Approval in
Concept Permits issued for all projects in the Coastal Zone
permit area; and
WHEREAS, the Approval in Concept Permit fees as
set forth in Section 15.37.020 may be modified by resolution
of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended increases
in said Approval in Concept Permit fees which the City Coun-
cil has considered and found to be fair, equitable and reason-
able,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach hereby establishes a fee of
Thirty Dollars ($30.00) as the amount to be deposited with the
City for the issuance of an Approval in Concept Permit. In the
case of minor applications, such as signs, swimming pools and
spas, patios, decks, fences and similar applications for
projects which would not increase= the floor area or intensity
of use, the fee shall be Ten Dollars ($10.00).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Approval in Concept
Permit fees shall become effective July 1, 1980.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of June, 1980.
