• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT TO THE
SECCO CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN CONNECTION WITH
THE BALBOA ISLAND PARE: BUILDING AND SITE
IMPROVEMENTS (C -2131)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with the Balboa Island Park building and
site improvements, in connection with the plans and specifi-
cations heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 4th
day of June, 1980, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefor is SECCO CONSTRUCTION COMPANY,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of SECCO CONSTRUC-
TION COMPANY in the amount of $159,900.00 for the Balboa
Island Park building and site improvements be accepted, and
that the contract for the described work be awarded to said
bidder; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on
behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk
be directed to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of June, 1980.
