Home My WebLink About9830 - Temporary & Seasonal ClassesRESOLUTION NO. 9830 • A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF TEMPORARY AND SEASONAL CLASSES AND THE MARINAPARK MANAGER FOR THE 1980 -81 FISCAL YEAR AND AMENDING THE COMPENSATION PLAN AND TABLE OF AUTHORIZATION TO REFLECT SAID CHANGES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach has adopted a Compensation Plan and Table of Authori- zation establishing salaries for temporary and seasonal classes; and WHEREAS, on June 30, 1976, the City entered into an agreement with Mabel Reinhart to be employed as Marinapark Manager; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered salary adjustments for temporary and seasonal employees and an adjustment in the compensation for the Marinapark Manager; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the Compensation. Plan and Table of Authorization to reflect the changes of salaries and temporary seasonal classes; and WHEREAS, the City Council further desires to adjust the compensation for the Marinapark Manager, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Newport Beach hereby amends the Compensation . Plan and Table of Authorization, effective July 1, 1980, to reflect the alteration of salaries for temporary and seasonal classes, as set forth in Exhibit "A" incorporated herein by this reference. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the compensation for the Marinapark Manager be and is hereby altered, effective July 1, 1980 to $9,198.00 per year. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said salaries shall be payable in monthly, semi - monthly or bi- weekly installments as is most convenient in the ordinary course of the prepara- tion of the City's payroll.
