• A RESOLUTION OF THE CI`.CY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE
BEACON BAY LEASE COMMP.PTEE TO DECEMBER, 1980
WHEREAS, on August 23, 1976, the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach adopted Resolution No. 8879
establishing the Beacon Bay Lease Committee; and
WHEREAS, said Committee was to go out of existence
on October 25, 1976; and
WHEREAS, on May 8, 1978, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 9330 reestablishing the Beacon Bay Lease
Committee and extending its term to May 1, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the final approvals of the Beacon Bay
residential lease have not been finally accepted by the State
of California and the leases executed; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to extend the term of
the Beacon Bay Lease Committee,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach does hereby extend the term of
the Beacon Bay Lease Committee which shall have the following
purposes:
1. Continue final negotiations with the Beacon Bay
Homeowners Association.in regard to the finalization of a
lease for the residential uses in Beacon Bay;
• 2. Report back to the City Council from time to
time in regards to the lease.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Committee shall
be terminated and cease to exist on or before December 31,
• 1980.
ADOPTED this 14th day of July , 1980.
