• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE
ORANGE COUNTY AIRPORT .AVIATION COMMITTEE TO
JULY 10, 1981
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach adopted Resolution No. 9597 on July 10, 1979, estab-
lishing the Orange County Airport Aviation Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council still believes that the
potential expansion of Orange County Airport will be to the
detriment of the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to extend the
term of the Orange County Airport Aviation Committee to
prepare a plan to assure the future welfare of the City
against any further unwarranted :intrusion by the Orange
County Airport,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the term of
the Orange County Airport Aviation Committee is hereby
extended to July 10, 1981, subject to all other terms and
conditions of Resolution No. 9597.
