• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF EASEMENT TO
THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY FOR AN
ELECTRICAL EASEMENT OVER A PORTION OF THE CITY
HALL SITE
WHEREAS, new electrical service is required for the
City Hall Annex because of additions being made to the building;
and
WHEREAS, an easement is required for the Southern
California Edision Company to locate a 12,000 volt underground
line running from the existing easement in the parking lot to a
new Edison transformer located beside the paper storage room; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the easement and
finds it to be satisfactory and that it is in the best interest
of the City to execute said easement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute said grant of easement
to the Southern California Edison Company for an electrical
easement over a portion of the City Hall site.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of September, 1980.
