RESOLUTION NO. 9888
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH CREATING AN AI) HOC CITY COUNCIL
COMMITTEE TO REVIEW FIRE FIGHTING CAPABILITIES
AND FACILITIES OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that a
study must be undertaken regarding the fire fighting capabilities
and facilities of the City of Newport: Beach; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to create
a City Council Committee to review said capabilities and
facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that an Ad Hoc City Council Committee
to review fire fighting capabilities and facilities of the City
is hereby created. The committee shall consist of three members,
including the Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem and one Councilman appointed
by the Mayor. The committee is to review the fire fighting
capabilities and facilities of the City of Newport Beach and
report back to the City Council on or before December 15, 1980.
The committee is to automatically sunset on December 15, 1980.
