• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO AGREE-
MENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AND
SCIENCE APPLICATIONS, INC., WITH RESPECT TO
THE PARKING CITATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

WHEREAS, on July 24, 1980, the City of Newport Beach
entered into a parking citation management agreement with Science
Applications, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain amendment to said agree-
ment between the City of Newport Beach and Science Applications,
Inc., which amendment alters the city cost of said agreement by
reducing the cost from $1.74 per citation to $1.42 per citation,
and said amendment further provides that Science Applications,
Inc., may terminate the agreement upon sixty days written notice
as is the case with the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and
conditions of said agreement and finds them to be satisfactory
and that it would be in the best interest of the City to execute
said agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of the
Newport Beach that the Agreement above described is approved, and
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
