• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING THE SOUTH SIDE
OF CHANNEL PLACE BETWEEN MARCUS AVENUE AND
RIVO ALTO AS A NO PARKING /TOW AWAY ZONE
WHEREAS, Section 12.40.160 of the Newport Beach Munici-
pal Code provides that the City Council may by resolution estab-
lish areas in which no person shall stop, stand or park a
vehicle; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to prohibit parking as
hereinafter provided in order to facilitate the flow of traffic
and eliminate traffic hazards,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council. of
the City of Newport Beach that the south side of Channel Place
between Marcus Avenue and Rivo Alto is hereby designated a No
Parking /Tow Away zone; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED than the Traffic Engineer shall
erect the necessary signs to indicate said area as a No
Parking /Tow Away zone.
ADOPTED this 27th day of October, 1980.
