RESOLUTION NO. 9922
• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A SUBDIVISION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AND THE
IRVINE COMPANY IN CONNECTION WITH THE PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS REQUIRED WITH TRACT NO. 10625;
AND ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF DEDICATION OF THE
RIGHT -OF -WAY ON SAN MIGUEL DRIVE BETWEEN MAC
ARTHUR BOULEVARD AND AVOCADO AVENUE
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach a certain Subdivision Agreement between
the City of Newport Beach and THE IRVINE COMPANY in connection
with the public improvements required with Tract No. 10625; and
WHEREAS, THE IRVINE COMPANY has made an offer of
dedication of the right -of -way on San Miguel Drive at MacArthur
Boulevard and Avocado Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and
conditions of said Subdivision Agreement and finds them to be
satisfactory and that it would be in the best interest of the
City to execute said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the offer of
dedication of said right -of -way and finds that the acceptance of
that offer to be in the best interest of the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
. the City of Newport Beach that the Subdivision Agreement above
described is approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the offer of dedication of
the right -of -way on San Miguel Drive at MacArthur Boulevard and
• Avocado Avenue is hereby accepted.
ADOPTED this 24th day of November, 1980.
