• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT TO JOHN
T. MALLOY, INC. IN CONNECTION WITH THE SEWER
MAIN REPLACEMENT PROGRAM - VIA LIDO SOUD
IMPROVEMENT /PHASE I (C -2188)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with the sewer main replacement program - Via Lido
Soud improvement /Phase I, in connection with the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 13th
day of November, 1980, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is the JOHN T. MALLOY, INC.,
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that the bid of JOHN T. MALLOY, INC., in
the amount of $119,142.00 be accepted, and that the contract for
the described work be awarded to said bidder; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accor-
dance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of
the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to
furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 24th day of November, 1980.
