• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE CREATION OF
ONE (1) TYPIST CLERK II POSITION AND AMENDING
THE COMPENSATION PLAN AND TABLE OF AUTHORIZA-
TION
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Newport Beach
has recommended to the City Council that one additional Typist
Clerk II position be created; and
WHEREAS,, said additional position will result in
certain amendments to the Compensation Plan and Table of
Authorization of Permanent Employee Classes as adopted by the
City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach hereby approves said recommendation and
amends the Compensation Plan and Table of Authorization of Perma-
nent Employee Classes as follows:
One (1) Typist Clerk II position is created with a
salary range of 41.026 - 45.026 ($878 - $1,067).
