RESOLUTION NO. _9948
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING THE
ALLEY LYING IN THE 1700 BLOCK OF WEST BALBOA
BOULEVARD WHICH IS PROPOSED TO BE VACATED,
CLOSED UP AND ABANDONED
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director of the City of
Newport Beach has presented to the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach a certain map entitled "Alley Vacation and
Abandonment," drawing No. R/W- 5435 -L of the Public Works
Department of the City of Newport Beach, dated December 15, 1980,
(attached hereto as Exhibit "A"), showing the alley which is
proposed to be vacated, closed up and abandoned, and which is
more particularly described as:
"That certain alley, 10.00 feet wide, as shown
on a map of Section B, Newport Beach Tract,
recorded in Book 4, Page 27, of Miscellaneous
Maps in the Office of the Recorder of the
County of Orange, lying westerly of and
adjoining Lot 18, Block 17, of said tract." °
NOW,.THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said map be and
hereby is approved and adopted, and the City Clerk is ordered and
directed to file the same in the proceedings for the abandonment
of said alley.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of December, 1980.
