RESOLUTION NO. 9983
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING A TWO -HOUR TIME
LIMIT FOR PARKING ON VIA LIDO BETWEEN CENTRAL
AVENUE AND VIA OPORTO
WHEREAS, a request has been presented to the
City to establish a two -hour time limit for parking on
Via Lido between Central Avenue.and Via Oporto; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of said two -hour
time limit is appropriate and will facilitate a turn-
over of customer parking in said area; and
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that the City Council, by
resolution, may establish parking time restrictions
including a two -hour restriction;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach that a two -hour
time limit for parking on Via Lido between Central
Avenue and Via Oporto is hereby established. The City
Traffic Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to
• post appropriate signs setting forth said two -hour
parking restriction.
• BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that with the exception
of the two -hour time limit for parking on Via Lido
between Central Avenue and Via Oporto, all other
regulations pertinent to said street shall remain in
full force and effect.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of February, 1981.
